Newsletter October 2007

You need courage to be nobody.
Courage to be truth.
And truth is That.

When you realize
that the divine power is taking care of all of this
a natural humbleness evolves
because you know that it is not you
who is causing it.
Everything comes and goes,
everything will vanish anyway.

So it is good and very wise to be humble.

If you turn inside
humbleness reveals naturally.
Because any other importance vanishes.

Only thankfulness is here,
humbleness, grace, beauty,
love and peace.

Reality is a happy Nothingness!

It is a deeply entrenched need of us humans to explain ourselves and the world. At all times scientists research into the mysteries of nature, the universe and the human mind.

The strategies are different, but where once one liked to retreat in the ivory tower of his discipline, and eyed other faculties – if at all – only with criticism, today a rapprochement takes place again. Quantum physics, neurology, philosophy or spirituality, at present it seems that in the end they all come to similar results. Even scientists suddenly come up with terms like “transcendence”, “God” or “cosmical spirit” to explain what they discovered. Facing such terminology the Descartes inside of us starts to rebel, sings his hymn to common sense and tries to save the rational logic from the stab with the dagger. But stop! The snake bites in its own tail, for the new realization of God is not handed down and the path to it is not irrationally at all. Slowly but steady the contours of the hardened separation-thought become blurred because the newest findings especially of brain research detract every argumentative basis from it. In a last consequence it could not be upheld anymore even from the most convincing admirer of rationality, and with this the gate to a new interdisciplinary consensus opens more and more.

Between quantum physics and Advaita

Just lately in an interview the physicist and Nobel Peace Price winner Prof. Hans-Peter Dürr established a clear connection between quantum physics and the thousands of years old Indian wisdom teaching Advaita. The word Ad-vaita is Sanskrit and means “non-duality”, which means as much as „unity“ or „oneness“. According to Prof. Dürr the Far Eastern philosophy explains exactly these findings he detected through quantum physics. Everything materially is based on something non-materially. This „pure information field“ is limitless, overall and beyond space and time. He calls it “reality”, but it is not to put on the same level with what we in general call „reality“. Or – plain and beautiful – „the source of being“.

Madhukar, German philosopher and Master of Advaita, describes this „source of being“ as a “trans-neurological reality, the oceanic Eternal out of which the individual rises like a wave and goes by again. The transpersonal Self is the only everlasting reality, which is peace and silent happiness”.

Reality as a transcendental happy Nothingness

Since this transcendental nothingness is the basis of everything existing, meaning it is pervading everything living, it is not only the essence of an impersonal universe but is as a consequence also inherent in every human body, in each single person. Exactly this point the practicing philosopher picks up: If reality is our basic nature then everybody must be able to experience it!

His approach is no science. He teaches no theory, no exercise, no mental concepts. If it had to be integrated in a faculty the category “applied philosophy” would be exactly right. In public meetings the former TV journalist animates the visitors to inquire “who they really are”. Through meditative silence and clarifying dialogs he strengthens the sensibility for this indescribably level. This way he makes the mystery of Oneness directly perceptible. The result: Simply being happy through Self-realization.

How and why this realization makes us happy is an enigma. Maybe it is because in their formless source of beingness people realize the higher power and themselves as a part of it. This sudden, doubtless knowledge to be embedded in something bigger than oneself and more eternal than the universe is like a coalescence with God. So the realization of God becomes realization of Self and vice versa.

Lightness through Transcendence

It is proven that persons who see a higher-ranking meaning in their life are more content than the ones with the heavy burden of the own life’s responsibility on their shoulders. True sages know: Firstly it comes different and secondly than one thinks! They accept the own powerlessness, the result is humbleness and devotion to a loving power.

The one who does not anymore perceive the I as a separated being that has to come up with the energy for all activities on its own, this one surrenders, swims along, glides effortless delighted through life.

Well, what are we doing now with this very old knowledge that finally became presentable again? It would be interesting to get representatives of the most different disciplines on one table to discuss this. But basically this is out of date. The best is we apply it. And live it. Because that is its basic meaning.

Water – Spring of Life

Masaru Emoto proves the existence of an invisible spiritual World

Masaru Emoto connects science and spirituality as no other researcher does. With his mystic pictures the 58 years old doctor and visionary from Tokyo proves nothing less than the existence of an invisible spiritual world.

A Vision

„The material culture of the human being has come to its limits“ Emoto says after twelve years research work. In ten thousand experiments he found that water records not only good or bad information, music and words, but also feelings and consciousness.
His research was based on the following considerations: Crystals are solid substances with regularly arranged atoms and molecules. Due to their different build-up conditions snow crystals never look the same. In order to have the same crystal structure, the different kinds of water on earth already would need to have the same crystal structure. His theory made him believe the following: When a water molecule crystals out then pure water turns into pure crystal. Polluted water would not crystallize so beautifully, so he thought. Suddenly it was clear to him that he could receive a clue regarding the quality of water via the water crystals.
He started his experiments in 1994. He had to freeze all water samples, provide all the necessary equipment and consider different conditions. To photograph crystals was only possible by for example keeping the exact freezing temperature and a specific time period of freezing. Also the incidence if light onto the object had to be right. Before the first picture of a water crystal turned out he had to use up some hundreds or thousands rolls of film in a time period of two months. When finally the first picture succeeded he enlarged his laboratory, and the project “crystal photography” with several assistants was founded.

Water samples from all over the world

With the support of several companies and voluntary helpers photographs could be taken from water of springs, rain, rivers, lakes and swamplands from Japan and from all over the world. In four and a half years more than ten thousand pictures were taken and processed. The experiences of Emoto and his team showed that it is not a good sign when the crystal structures break or collapse.

So the appraisal factor for the crystal and its quality is whether it is beautiful to look at or not. In order to receive a scientifically airtight analysis the team carried out daily observations on different places, and analyses were made with the support of many people.

The drinking water of Japan, the home of Emoto, is almost hundred percent provided by waterworks. Only a small part of the population still pumps drinking water up from the groundwater or receives it from a spring.

On the basis of Emoto’s findings tap water including chlorine shows destroyed structures, in Japan and also in big cities like Berlin, London or Paris.

The pictures of Japanese tap water crystals do not show very pleasing results. It is known that the drinking water in Japan includes chlorine and other chemical substances that affect the hormone balance of living beings. The water comes from tanks and rivers with added disinfectants to make it drinkable. Many people use water cleaning appliances to remove these seemingly harmless substances of which they instinctively know that they are threatening their body. The pictures of tap water crystals from other big cities of the world come from London, Paris, New York or Buenos Aires. Compared to the tap water crystals from Japan they are much clearer. Emoto sees the reason for this difference in the pollution level of the water springs in the different countries and the different water purification plants. Clean flowing spring water shows an esthetic hexagonally structure. Obviously this hexagonal form is the basic shape of all life phenomenons in nature – according to the Holy Geometry. Since primeval times there is a connection between an environment with many natural springs and longevity and health of the rural population. The pictures of natural spring water from Japan and from all over the world show clear crystal structures.

Water has been on earth long before the human being appeared. It continuously repeated its natural cycle. We just borrowed the water out of this cycle. We borrowed it, but because that was so simple with proceeding industrialization we started taking too much from it. We pollute the water before we give it back in its cycle. We disinfect this polluted water with chlorine, and this we call purification!

Water has the power for self-purification. When for example rain water seeps into the ground it gets filtrated by the earth and becomes part of the groundwater. Water also gets cleaned when it evaporates from rivers and lakes and turns into clouds in the sky. These are only some of the manifold natural processes of purification. This is the reason why many river animals live in the headwater. Due to this natural purification the headwater shows more beautiful crystals than the water in the middle part of the river.

Water reacts on music and words

The theory that plants have consciousness motivated Emoto to carry out further experiments. Some of the theories say that there would be immense differences in the growth of plants when they are exposed to nice or bad words. Therefore – so Emoto’s assumption – the water that for example is contained in plants must listen to words. People become cheerful and encouraged when they listen to music. Emoto’s theory proceeds from the assumption that probably the water in their bodies changes. The vibrations of music and words, which are transferred by the air, probably affect water more than any other element. So, good music and friendly words should have a positive effect on water. The human body consists of approximately 70 % water…. Emoto placed distilled water between two loudspeakers and played normal music with normal loudness. Before this he had taken more than hundred pictures from distilled water. The crystals showed good formed until less beautiful crystals, but almost all had hexagonal crystal forms. After playing for example famous violin music from Bach to the water, wonderful crystals showed up. In contrast to this a crystal looks destroyed after playing a sad Korea folk song.

After the experiments with music the team wanted to know how water reacts on words. Paper labels were put on each of two glass bottles. One label said for example „thank you“, on the other one it said „fool”. The results were incomprehensible, also for the team. Water exposed to the feeling of love and thankfulness creates a beautiful crystal. Also putting up labels on the water containers with the names of the five world religions in Japanese, English and German language showed surprisingly similar crystalline forms. Negative words like “you make me sick. I will kill you” caused malformed crystals. The crystals of water under the influence of Heavy Metal music and cusswords were totally destroyed in the tests – the originally crystal forms broke in thousand pieces.

Emoto’s book shows pictures of hundreds of random samples that report of incomprehensiveness. According to the findings of Emoto information is recorded in the electric field between atomic nucleus and its orbiting electrons and the clusters. The world of the neutrinos is on the same level of consciousness as the human beings. Therefore the deepest level of things depends on the consciousness of the humans. Emoto said to the magazine “Sein” in Berlin: „If we do not want to totally destroy nature we must provide clarification regarding the invisible spiritual world. The message of the water shows us in a clear and plain way that the basis of nature is love and thankfulness. As we human beings mainly consist of water it is obvious to draw the conclusion that we have to be very, very careful how we treat ourselves, our fellow men and nature.“

In our next edition we report of more experiments of Emoto. You can read more about how the human consciousness changes water and how water reflects the human consciousness. We report of the experiment of soul and spirit carried out with 500 persons.

And you will learn about the message of crystal pictures after a Japanese pontiff has carried out a „purification ritual”.

Water has many messages and it seems, so Masaru Emoto, that we still have to learn a lot from it.

Beauty cure from inside!

“Come with me tomorrow” she suggests while she is taking the wonderful smelling apple cake out of the oven, “it is really fun.” I am sceptical. Going to a Guru is only something for esoterics or hippies, not for young people like me who are standing in the middle of life. Although, the good mood my mother is in since she is going to Madhukar is really infecting. Finally no grouchiness anymore, instead delicious cake. Obviously there must be something about this man! Maybe I really should form my own view on it, I am thinking while I put with relish the first still warm piece of cake in my mouth. For nowadays prejudices can win no flowerpot anymore. Meanwhile they are out of date, more than Gurus ever can be. And since I have nothing better to do I agree without further ado to accompany my mother the next day to an evening meeting in Stuttgart.

When we arrive the room is already almost crowed. Surprised I notice that actually the audience looks totally normal. No foulards dance in fluttering skirts, no Birkenstock slippers and no (or little) hemp backpacks with colorful Indian symbols sewed on them. Contrary to my expectations it is no meeting of ecos and 68er freaks. Many guests are even very chic. I am just about starting to insecurely pick on my faded Benetton cloth trousers – I did not want to unnecessarily attract attention here – when a sweet scent passes by and totally holds my attention. White lilies! My favorite flowers! Big bouquets adorn both sides of the bright sofa decorated with an orange colored cushion, set up on the upper end of the room. In front of it in semicircular arrangement some of the guests are sitting on cushions. The ambience has style, I like that! While my mother sits down on a cushion in the front I take a seat on one of the chairs in the back and I am very anxious to see what happens. It is silent. The atmosphere is almost devotional. Candles are burning on little tables next to the empty sofa that some are staring at as if they were in trance. Others are sitting relaxed, smiling, with closed eyes, or concentrated in meditation posture. Well, the whole thing really is a little bit bizarre. Slowly I get impatient. Then finally Madhukar enters the room. His appearance immediately catches everybody’s eyes. Rightly, I think. He is very attractive, looks young, dressed very stylish, and so he is totally contradicting the dusty picture I had until then from a spiritual master. The people on the cushions bow low to him and others blissfully fold their hands. Confused by this unexpected gesture I am about to jump up and hectically flee from this. Quickly out of here before it is too late! But it is already too late, and unwillingly I stay on my seat. It will not last too long, I calm down myself. After a phase of silence in which my thoughts fall over backwards and which seems to me like it would last forever, Madhukar sings the “Om” and everybody join in. The long deep sound vibrates through the room and has a pleasantly soothing effect. The Master smiles and looks around. “Welcome. How can I serve you?”

The following hours fly by. People come in front with questions and I often have the feeling that exactly my themes are hit. Concentrated as seldom I soak up each single word. It is fascinating how clear and lovingly Madhukar seems to unsnarl all mental entanglements. In the beginning live situations often are described as being problematical and then they suddenly become so easy that a lot of times the askers burst out laughing, loudly and relieved. And along with them the entire audience. The atmosphere in the room is getting more and more light hearted. The tenseness I felt in the beginning turns into a general cheeriness. I feel free, unworried, full of new energy. What happened? Music is playing. Exhilarated I jump up and start to dance. Partly absorbed in themselves, partly wildly jumping around, young and elderly move frolicsomely to the sounds. A feeling of deep happiness flows through me when I realize the beauty of each one of them, and I feel that everything is good exactly as it is. I look over to Madhukar who is still sitting on his sofa. Unexpectedly our eyes meet. His shining blue eyes magically attract me, I fall into them and suddenly I swim in an ocean of love and peace. This look goes through me – directly into the heart.

After the event, for having a nice ending of the evening we go to a little scenic bar close by to drink a cocktail. Our good mood seems to attract attention, anyway, the barkeeper wants to make a photo from us for his homepage. Of course he may do that.

When I look at the picture I almost do not recognize myself: sparkling eyes and a mysterious smile are shining out of the photograph. Is that I? Wow! Totally mystic. True beauty really seems to come from inside. I do not exactly know what happened this evening, but one thing is for sure: I will come again.
